Last week the collective comprised of Will Putney along with ETID alum Jordan Buckley, Stephen Micciche, drummer Clayton “Goose” Holyoak and vocalist Greg Puciato announced their eagerly-awaited follow up to their 2023 God Made Me An Animal EP with their debut full length LP as Better Lovers.

Confirming October 25th as the arrival date, Highly Irresponsible marks the band's first full length out via Sharptone Records. The project is anchored by the production of WIll Putney and driven by the songwriting prowess of five of the most respected players in their respective lanes.

Along with the news of the album debut last week, the band also delivered the first showing from the project with the drop of the introductory single, "A White Horse Covered In Blood". Showcasing the signature style of the band 's rhythm section along with the chaotic delivery of Puciato, the single marks an auspicious start and sets the bar high for what's the come from Better Lovers.

Buckley brandished that famous wit in stating of the single and accompanying Eric Richter-directed video, “Playing and hearing our own music makes us want to run through walls. So we made a video where, while playing and hearing our own music, we run through walls. This ain’t rocket surgery!”

Now, Better Lovers have announced plans to support the arrival of Highly Irresponsible with a succession of headlining tour dates across North America. The five-week run kicks off on Nov. 3 in Asheville, N.C. and closes out on December 8th in Lakewood, OH. The run will feature supporting sets from Full of Hell, SPY, Cloakroom and Gouge Away on select dates.

Speaking on the album and the momentum Better Lovers has built in the recent weeks, Greg Puciato shared of the current status of the project, “New album. First full length. It’s a typical thing to say, but we’re excited to start getting this out there. Everyone really brought their best to the album, and brought out the best in each other, and that goes for everyone behind-the-scenes too.”

Tickets for Better Lovers first headlining North American tour are set to go on sale starting August 9th at 10am local time. A complete list of dates and cities can be found below. Get tickets - HERE
