Southern California hardcore hitters Big Ass Truck have submitted a beefy, belligerent brand of aggression with their latest EP, Found On Road Dead. First previewing the Nuclear Blast Records release with the equally clobbering "Dragging Meat," the band's latest haymaker in "Big Ass Gun" piles on the violence with a knockout punch that leaves no doubt.
Coupled with a new music video helmed by Chris Klumpp (156/Silence, Currents) the clip for "Big Ass Gun" compiles live footage from the mayhem that is Big Ass Truck live to showcase how the band's conducts their sonic mayhem.
Frontman Abel Abarca shared of the announcement, “We’re super stoked to finally get these tracks out into the world. Starting with ‘DRAGGING MEAT’ only made sense with how hard it hits, this song has become one of our favorites we've made and we cant wait to bring it out to our live shows this October/November.”
Riding out in support of the new EP, the true road dogs in Big Ass Truck I.E. begin a fall tour with a release show in San Diego tonight. Along with an appearance at Vans Warped Tour Orlando, the band headline several dates with support from Chamber, Mugshot, Load Tha Nine, Surfaced, Restrictor Plate and LIE.
Following the band's fall U.S. run, Big Ass Truck I.E. will head overseas for a UK trek with support from Pintglass. The current list of live dates and cities can be found below.
