Mounting what has been a breakout year, Southern California hardcore specialists Big Ass Truck have been on a relentless live tear, touring stages of all sizes and making devoted converts along the way. From standout support on a series of club shows to highlight festival sets at Welcome To Rockville, LDB Fest, Sound & Fury, Warped Tour and Inkcarceration - Big Ass Truck has steamrolled.
Ensuring the pedal stays to the metal, the band have announced their recent signing to legendary heavy music label, Nuclear Blast Records. Intent on adding to their arsenal that has been effective with only a demo and supplemental singles thus far, Big Ass Truck have issued arguably their most bombastic song to date as a proper introduction to their next chapter, "Back-Wheel Stomp".
The band expressed their excitement in launching the new track and the aligning with such a respected label. “We’re super stoked to be on Nuclear Blast! They’re such a legendary label that a lot of our influences have been a part of so it’s also a wild full circle moment for all of us to be involved like this! ‘BACK-WHEEL STOMP’ is one of our heaviest songs we’ve made and it’s just the beginning of what we’re ready to unleash with Nuclear Blast.”
The arrival of "Back-Wheel Stomp" coincides with the band's current touring slate. Big Ass Truck is set to perform at Louder Than Life Festival today (September 18th), followed by headline stops, a play at New England Metal & Hardcore Festival, Riot Fest and Furnace Fest early next month. The band was also recently confirmed as support for Chiodos and Hawthorne Heights in November. A complete list of dates and cities be found below.
