Among the most compelling, captivating forces in contemporary black metal, Blackbraid continues to elevate the genre with his distinct brand of indigenous brutality.

Hailed for his succession of self-titled studio albums, Blackbraid has ushered in a new era of extreme music mastery since his eponymous debut in 2022. Earning universal acclaim with Blackbraid I and the 2023 follow-up in Blackbraid II, fans have since been waiting with anticipation for the next chapter from the enigmatic black metal mystic. 

Confirming the August 8th arrival date of the third installment in the Blackbraid saga, Sgah'gahsowáh further asserts his prowess with a ten-track presentation that is already among the most exciting entries on the year. 

Offering an initial reveal of the bewitching artwork, Sgah'gahsowáh worked in collaboration with Adam Burke to complete the painting with longtime Blackbraid album artist Adrian Baxter handling the illustration. Issuing the artwork and the tracklisting, Blackbraid has already stoked the fire for the August release. 

Additionally, Blackbraid has partnered with Montana extreme music authority Fire in the Mountains Festival to curate a special preview event where festival fans will get to experience the record before the release date. Fire in the Mountains is set to take place in Montana July 25th-27th, 2025 at the Red Eagle Campground on the Blackfeet Nation Reserve.
