Blind Channel Unveils Sixth Full Length, 'Painstream'

The album is introduced by the towering double single, “Diana” / “No Encores In A Swan Song”

Finnish powerhouse Blind Channel have announced their sixth full length studio album, Painstream. The news follows a near two-year hibernation as the band has resurfaced with more refined and singularly focused as songwriters. 

To begin the run up to the October 30th arrival of Painstream, Blind Channel have shared their ambitious double-single, “Diana” / “No Encores In A Swan Song”. Pairing powerful instrumentation and potent performances, the effective one-two asserts Blind Channel has not only returned, but come back with a vengeance. 

 

The band shared of the new collection of songs, “In a world filled with uncertainty, conflict and division, pain is one thing all humans share. Rather than separating us, 'Painstream' explores the idea that pain can unite us, reminding us of our common humanity. We examine pain from personal, societal and existential perspectives, while also uncovering something unexpected: hope.”

Among the 12-walloping tracks on Painstream, the self-produced effort also touts a special guest appearance from Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men. 

Along with the release of new music, Blind Channel continues to add to their live itinerary. The band continues to tease the debut show at Helsinki Ice Hall on November 14th and have confirmed two live dates in Japan.
