Signaling that something major was on the horizon, multi-platinum selling rock powerhouse Chevelle delivered their first offering of new music in over four years earlier this spring. "Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1)" showcased a progressive build from slow burn to inferno as Chevelle repositioned themselves as one of rock music's most proven, consistent contributors.

Now, the band have confirmed that a brand new full length studio album is on the way. Bright As Blasphemy is due out August 15 via Alchemy Recordings and marks the follow-up to the band;'s acclaimed 2021 studio effort, NIRATIAS. Speaking to the underlying themes of the new album, the band played their cards close to the chest so as not to give too much away.

The band shared of the thematic weight of Bright As Blasphemy, "Human Existence encompasses both inherent challenges and potential. It's up to you how to pass the time. Enjoy."

Along with the news of the pending album, as well as the band's upcoming summer headlining tour with support from Asking Alexandria and Dead Poet Society, Chevelle have ramped up the momentum again in previewing the new project with the next single, "Jim Jones (Cowards Pt. 2)". The single is signature Chevelle with a driving, rock heavy cadence fueled by aggressive guitars, powerful percussion and a convincing vocal performance that will make the latest track a setlist essential this summer.

The band shared some insight on "Jim Jones (Cowards Pt. 2)" and how it off of the previous single release, "Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1)", "History teaches us the longest rabbit hole has no end."
