Just last week, Counterparts delivered their first showing of new material since 2022's well-received A Eulogy for Those Still Here, with their bolstered sound of their latest EP, Heaven Let Them Die.  Arguably their heaviest yet, the six-song effort emphasizes a more aggressive version of the band, one that combines metalcore heft with their hardcore and punk pedigree. 

"Heaven Let Them Die is Counterparts at our most aggressive — sonically, lyrically and visually," underlined frontman Brenden Murphy. The vocalists would also go onto explain how the EP is a continuation of what the band built on their 2022 release. 

"Picking up where Eulogy ended, Heaven Let Them Die details how I came to terms with all I had foreshadowed in the previous release and how that led me to where I am now. This EP is the most authentic representation of Counterparts to date — honest, harsh and without restraint."

Now, the band are following the surprise release with news of a massive North American tour in support of the EP. Set to begin February 17th, 2025 in Toronto, Counterparts will head a line-up that includes serious support from the likes of Pain of Truth, Malevolence and Foreigns Hands. The early 2025 trek will stretch some 24-dates and conclude with a finale in Detroit on March 22nd. 

Tickets for the Heaven Let Them Die North American tour are set to go on sale November 15th at 10am local time. Ahead of the general on sale, KNOTFEST.com will host an exclusive pre-sale giving fans and premium members access to tickets before the general public. Starting November 14th at 10am ET, fans can access tickets using a special password. The pre-sale event extends until 10pm local time on November 14th.
