Courtney LaPlante and Riot Games Debut Theme for 2XKO, "Ties That Bind"

See the official cinematic visual ahead of the release of the newest entry in the League of Legends universe. 

Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante has entered the League of Legends universe. 

Teaming with developer Riot Games, LaPlante is featured on the official theme for the upcoming release of 2XKO. The track, "Ties That Bind," serves as the soundtrack for the latest cinematic visual unveiled by the team ahead of October 7th release of the newest 2v2 arena expansion of the LoL orbit.

2XKO by Riot Games features champions from League of Legends and Arcane. The game is to open to all players on Windows PC, tomorrow. Riot Games has confirmed there will be five seasons in 2026, with a new character added to the roster each season. 

As for LaPlante and her contribution to the 2XKO rollout follows her recent feature via  BABYMETAL’s “My Queen” on the band's precedent-setting album Metal Forth. LaPlante also recently joined forces with Poppy and Amy Lee of Evanescence on the single of the year contender, “End Of You,” - an entry that catapulted to #1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs and climbed to #6 on Spotify’s Viral 50 US chart.
