Extreme music pillars Cradle of Filth have shared a new music video from their latest full length release, The Screaming Of The Valkyries. Released earlier this year via Napalm Records, the 14th full length studio album from Cradle of Filth earned a lofty #2 spot on both the US and Canadian Hard Music Albums charts and landed at #4 on the US Current Rock Albums chart - to list a few.
Ahead of the start of their Summoned In Summer European trek along with support from labelmates Nervosa, Cradle of Filth have shared a new music video for the track, "Demagoguery". Anchored by commanding performance from Dani Filth, the band's grandiose take on extreme music is on full display with a track and accompanying visual that combines the stylish and the sinister.
Elaborating on the concept at drives the narrative of the visual, director Shaun Hodson explained, "Subject Eleven, a marionette puppet, is controlled by the media, government, and television, her every move dictated by their unseen strings. As a charismatic world leader rises, cloaked in promises of peace, the truth behind her manipulation becomes clear: she is part of a dark orchestration guiding the world toward the rise of the Antichrist."
Beginning their European jaunt this week, Cradle of Filth is set to make a handful of festival appearances with performances scheduled at Mystic Festival in Poland, Nova Rock in Austria, Download in the UK and Tolminator Festival in Slovenia. Additionally, Cradle of Filth will take on headlining dates with support from Nervosa. A complete list of the Summoned in Summer European tour can be found below.
