With just days until the arrival of one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Deftones have announced a special series of album listening events set for a host of major cities across the globe.
Set for August 19th through the 21st, fans will get a chance to experience the new album, Private Music, days ahead of it's actual release date. Additionally, Deftones have teamed with Pitchblack Playback to create a unique, immersive listening experience. Touting a “premiere sound system” and a distraction-free environment, the collective creates listening events with a sensory-depravation element.
The Private Music album listening events will take place in Amsterdam and Mexico City on August 19th, Los Angeles, New York, London and Melbourne on August 20th and Paris and Berlin on the 21st. Fans are encouraged to sign up for tickets to the events - HERE

Coinciding with the release of Private Music, Deftones will set out on the second leg of their North American tour. The arena run will feature support from Phantogram and IDLES will take on select dates of the run as direct support with The Barbarians of California opening each night.
The second leg is slated to begin album release day August 22nd in Vancouver, BC and wraps September 17th in Kansas City, MO. Additionally, Deftones have been confirmed for a handful of important festival plays including Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY this September, Aftershock in their hometown of Sacramento later this fall as well as their annual Dia De Los Deftones festival set for this November.
Additionally, Deftones will begin 2026 with a massive European tour due to begin in January. The trek will feature support from Denzel Curry and Drug Church, starting out in Paris on January 29th. The finale will land in London at The O2 on February 20th.
