Deftones Drop Latest Collaboration Beer With Belching Beaver, 'milk of the madonna'

- By Ramon Gonzales -->

Check out the latest in the series of collab beers that extends back to 2016 and the arrival of the first Phantom Bride IPA.

Marking a decade of collaboration with San Diego craft beer brewery Belching Beaver, Deftones have been working in close partnership with the brand since 2016, when the first Phantom Bride IPA rolled off the line. In the years since, the brewery has become closely linked with the band, delivering a series of celebrated collaboration beers, each taking inspiration from the band's catalog and translating that into various styles of beer.

The latest release is prime example of the working relationship between the two entities. Unveiling their 'milk of the madonna' horchata blonde ale, the style takes cues from Deftones latest album, Private Music, by playing off one of the standout tracks on the record.The can artwork also nods to the record with a serpent and a bold, gold colorway that makes the can undeniable.

The brewery introduced the latest in the collaboration series which arrives in California January 30th and begins wider distribution in the next few weeks.

"Get ready for Milk Of The Madonna! Brewed in collaboration with our friends Deftones, this Horchata Blonde Ale hits smooth and rhythmic. Creamy and mellow with notes of cinnamon and vanilla, each sip layers warmth, balance, and just enough spice to keep you coming back for more.
Crafted for late nights, deep cuts, and everything in between. Turn it up. Pour it out. Let it play."
The limited release will begin distribution in throughout CA, OR, ID, WA, NV, AZ, MN, NE, TX, CO, Mexico & Aruba in the coming weeks. Stay updated via Brew Finder to know when the beer lands - HERE
