Deservedly landing on several year-ending Best Of lists and earning unanimous praise, Deftones' continue their career year on the strength of their tenth studio album, Private Music. Over the weekend, the band quietly debuted a new clip for standout track, "infinite source," showcasing footage collected during the band's sold out headlining stretch earlier this year.
Framing the live power of the band achieving a new peak three decades into their run, the video underscores Deftones ability to set trends, rather than follow, seamlessly shifting from performance footage to the adulation from generations of fans hold the band in such high regard. The video also emphasizes just why the album is up for a Grammy in the Hard Rock category.
Following a brief pause for the holiday, Deftones will resume their run on the road with a healthy stretch of international dates. The band begin their year with an EU/UK headlining tour with Denzel Curry and Drug Church. In March, Deftones take on several Latin America dates before heading off to Australia for a tour with Interpol and Ecca Vandal. Deftones will then head back for a series of festival dates and historic headliners in Europe, taking on their biggest headlining play to date in London on August 23rd at Victoria Park with IDLES and Amyl and the Sniffers.
