Last month, Philadelphia black metal sorcerers Devil Master have announced their full length return with the confirmation of the new album, Bloody Dreams. Set to arrive September 4th via Relapse Records, the album builds on the the acclaim earned on the 2022 release of Ecstasies of the Never Ending Night. 

Spearheaded by guitarist and primary songwriter Darkest Prince, Devil Master's latest epic asserts a potent combination of punk and psychedelia worked into the unit's black metal foundation - making for a collection of tracks that resonate as both haunting and heavy. 

Launching the album with the introductory,  "You Worms' Vain Delusions" the single, flexed technical muscle and shadowy mystique. Devil Master's fluid guitars, relentless percussion and frosty howls along with the band's VHS aesthetic, made for an effective start to the Bloody Dreams era. 

For the second preview from the album,. Devil Master's latest in "Death Anthem" offers tribute to Japanese punk cult heroes G.I.S.M. The band explain, “Death Anthem” – “an homage eulogy to G.I.S.M. - our label mates with visionary Sakevi Yokohama having passed on August 23 2023, and his cohort Randy Uchida in 2001,” states ringleader Darkest Prince. “Lyrically you can hear our calls to Satan, Dionysus and Kali respectively! Fangs to Eva and crew for the video.” 

Among the guest features touted on Bloody Dreams, the album includes contributions from Mirai Kawashima of Japanese extreme music legends, Sigh, former drummer Chris Ulsh of Power Trip and Ur Èmdr Œrvn of illusive black metal horde, Arkha Sva. 

Devil Master will be touring Europe in support of the Bloody Dreams for a series of supporting dates opening for SIGH. A list of dates and cities can be found below.
