Revisiting the power and prowess of their celebrated 2024 Napalm Records release, Warp Speed Warriors, power metal champions Dragonforce have released a brand new music video for the album favorite, “Burning Heart”. This time around, the band have focused on the alternate version of the track, which features a dynamic performance from Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz.
Initially included as a bonus track on select editions of Warp Speed Warriors, the single now gets an official music video rollout, underscoring the magnitude of the massive collaboration between two of extreme music's most dominant and enduring forces.
Working with director Jake Johnston, the clip showcases incendiary performances from all the players, complete with the kind of epic mountaintop solos that have made Dragonforce so beloved.
Guitarist Herman Li shared his thoughts on the joint effort, "Alissa has been one of my favorite metal vocalists for a long time. I’m thrilled that the stars aligned, allowing us to collaborate on this track. I believe 'Burning Heart' is the perfect song for Alissa to showcase her remarkable vocal range and her stunning performance has elevated the song to another level."
Alissa White-Gluz also weighed in, "As a long time DragonForce fan, it was such a fun experience to sing Burning Heart! This band knows no speed limits - even as a vocalist I found myself tripping over consonants trying to keep up. It was a refreshing challenge! I’m happy to be a part of such a cool song and video!”
The music video for the latest version of "Burning Heart" lands as Dragonforce prepare to finish out the last European leg of their Warp Speed Warriors tour, which includes festival dates and selected shows POWERWOLF. Later this year, the pair will set out on Powerwolf's headlining North American tour in what will be a blockbuster one-two.
