Industry-leading, independent festival production powerhouse Danny Wimmer Presents has confirmed the 2025 dates both the Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple brands following a recording-breaking 2024.
Last month, Welcome to Rockville descended upon Daytona International Speedway in Florida. Serving as the unchristened start of the summer festival slate, Rockville hosted more than 200,000 people and featured 150 bands across an expanded 5 stage set-up, for the first time ever. The fest has earned the title of North America's Largest Rock Festival and offered resounding proof with their record-shattering turnout.
In the same month, Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio took to Historic Crew Stadium and saw their biggest showing to date with more than 130,000 rock and metal fans joining the festivities. Boasting 130 bands acfoss four stages, the brand has earned as reputation as one of the best heavy music-focused fests of the calendar year.
As for forecast for the two DWP properties, Welcome to Rockville 2025 will return May 15-18, 2025 again taking over the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The 2025 edition of Sonic Temple is confirmed for May 8-11, 2025 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
Early bird passes for Welcome to Rockville are set to go on sale June 24th at 12pm ET. Early bird passes for Sonic Temple will be made available later this summer.
