Dying Wish Debut Unsettling New Video for "Revenge In Carnage"

Pacific Northwest disruptors Dying Wish continue to charge towards the September 26th release of their next full length epic. Last month, the band confirmed their new album, Flesh Stays Together and previewed the SharpTone Records release with the powerful lead single, "I'll Know You're Not Around".

Shortly thereafter, Dying Wish confirmed plans to close out 2025 with a headlining tour in support of the album. The Flesh Stays Together tour will showcase new selections from the album, along favorites that have helped propel Dying Wish in becoming one of heavy music's most exhilarating emerging forces.

Sharing the second single from the album, Dying Wish's latest preview in "Revenge In Carnage," the band's brand of metallic hardcore asserts refined songwriting and distilled heft that harnesses real life trauma and weaponizes it across 10 combustible entries.

Vocalist Emma Boster discusses the fight or flight nature that drives the track. "'Revenge in Carnage' is an anthemic moment of man-made apocalyptic violence. Imagine when you hear the isolated vocal starting the song that you have entered your final moment. Our final moments on this earth will not be peaceful. There’s no time for reflection, only survival”

Coupled with an unsettling new video helmed by Imani Givertz and the band’s own Pedro Carrillo, Dying Wish emphasizes a compelling sense of urgency that fuels the soundtrack. Carrillo further explained, “The video represents the disillusion of self. The acceptance of violence and how we see ourselves in other people. We try to silence those thoughts with our own righteous beliefs only to be a different version of the same knife. We continue to fail to protect one another. We continue to point the finger. We continue to pretend that evil isn’t formed within our soul. If there is hope, it won’t be found in this lifetime.”

Speaking to the totality of the album, Boster discussed the narrative merit of their next chapter. “Flesh Stays Together is a discovery, a journey of grief and a statement. Together we face the most unacceptable conditions in our lifetimes. Every tragedy becomes our own yet we have never been more separated. Flesh is a vicious wake up call. Slowly and painfully we approach the end we deserve.”

Along with the arrival of the latest full length, Dying Wish have confirmed The Flesh Stays Together tour following the band's upcoming slate of live dates supporting Poppy for a US run next month with stops at Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville and Aftershock in October.

The band's 2025 plans also include a European stretch of dates supporting Malevolence along with SPEED and Psycho-Frame. Leading their Flesh Stays Together tour throughout North America, support will include the likes of Static Dress, Gouge Away, Orthodox, and Boltcutter.

The tour begins November 14th in Nashville and wraps with their second annual Dying Wishmas holiday homecoming event. The celebration takes place at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon and will feature sets from Static Dress, Big Boy, Gridirion, Gouge Away, Orthodox, Boltcutter and End Of Dayz.

As for the album, Flesh Stays Together was recorded with revered producer Will Putney [Knocked Loose, Nothing, Full of Hell] and builds on the band's breakout success achieved on 2023's Symptoms of Survival - an effort that catapulted Dying Wish to new heights and garnered widespread acclaim.
