The city of Baltimore continues to ride hard for hardcore.
Having secured their position as one of the space's most exciting and engaging emerging voices, END IT have firmed up plans to release their full length debut album via Flatspot Records. Wrong Side of Heaven arrives August 29th and signals a new chapter for the band, following the well-earned praise of their trio of EP releases including 2022's Unpleasant Living.
Working with venerated producer Brian McTernan (Turnstile, Snapcase, Hot Water Music), the collective better developed their vision for the full length debut sequesting themselves in the studio for two months earlier this year. Distilling a meld of essential hardcore, fiery thrash and seamless style points of soul, END IT have come out swinging on a debut LP years in the making.
As for the connective tissue that weaves 15-track presentation together, the band explain the message that fuels their sonic ire and their artistic DNA as “Spreading awareness of the change that’s coming to Americans, personal growth, and maintaining the ethics and integrity of hardcore.”
Starting the rollout for the record, END IT have issues td the first single from the LP with the unveiling of "Pale Horse". At just over a minute of runtime, the track never lets off the gas with a pace intended to fire up the pit from start to finish. Coupled with a new video from Noah Haycock, the clip frames younger versions of END IT while capturing the band's relentless performance.
