Topping a bill that underscored rock music's resurgence among mainstream radio, Southern California's KROQ hosted their annual Almost Acoustic Christmas at The Kia Forum in Inglewood over the weekend. Touting a line-up leaning in rock, heavyweights like Papa Roach, Rise Against and Social Distortion proved among the night's biggest draws for the annual holiday celebration.
At the very top of the bill, arena rock mainstays Evanescence closed the evening with a massive set brimming with hits. None bigger however, than the band's ageless anthem in "Bring Me to Life," - a track that cracked Spotify's 1 Billion Plays early last year.
For the dramatic closer, Evanescence enlisted some added support, welcoming Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix to perform alongside Amy Lee as the evening's coup de grace. The rousing performance punctuated night filled with highlights. Check the clip shared via KROQ below.
