Thrash icons Exodus have announced their milestone 12th full length studio album, Goliath. The album marks the band's first outing via Napalm Records and follows the acclaim of their 2021 effort, Persona Non Grata, an album that earned the band's highest chart position of their four-decade plus career.

Handling the production of the album along with a final mix and master from Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Nile, Undeath), Goliath asserts the same speed and technical prowess that has defined the band's style for generations. Additionally, Goliath marks the return of 2000s era Exodus frontman Rob Dukes, rounding out a line-up that feels both classic and contemporary combined.

Beginning the latest cycle, Exodus has shared the incendiary first single from the album with the gritty "3111". With a visual that was initially banned by Youtube due to it's inflammatory content, the grisly nature of the clip is paired with the unrelenting aggression that is Exodus to make for a dominant start to the new campaign.

Offering some insight to the single and just why the track is not for squeamish, the band explained the meaning behind the number. "We decided to go hard with the leadoff single, '3111'. The song is about the narco killings in Juarez, and '3111' is the estimated number of murders for 2010 alone."

Emphasizing the collective nature of the new album, the band spoke about how Goliath is an important new chapter for Exodus, one that underscores the shared vision of the band moving forward. “Are we excited for this record? That’s an understatement. We put everything we had into this record (and it’s 80 percent complete follow up, but we’ll save that conversation for another day!) and it’s one of our proudest accomplishments. Wildly collaborative, the most band centric album to date with four songs written by Lee, lyrics by Gary, Rob, Lee and Tom, and just killer all the way around. The time to let the monster loose is coming! Bow Down!”

In support of the March 20th release, Exodus will be busy for the first half of the year with an extensive run of live tour dates. Up first, Exodus will join Megadeth and Anthrax for Dave Mustaine's final run of Canada. On the album's release date, Exodus will embark on a European tour with Kreator, Carcass and NAILS and will finish the spring run with a slate of US dates on Sepultura's final North American run on the Celebrating Life Through Death tour.
