Set to deliver their seventh full length this week, Los Angeles collective Failure have shared the final preview of the highly-anticipated project and submitted a very rare collaboration. Aligning with well-established fan and supporter, Hayley Williams, the union resulted in "The Rising Skyline," one of the standout tracks on the forthcoming album, Location Lost.
Failure's Ken Andrews spoke of the joint effort and explained how his friendship with Williams ultimately lead to the creative chemistry of the song. “Failure doesn’t do a lot of collaborations, but my friendship with Hayley, and her long standing support of the band, turned this song into a very satisfying duet. It's probably the most delicate song we’ve ever done and her vocal approach really brought that out.”
Riding out in support of Location Lost, Failure begin their live campaign with a sold out album release show in Los Angeles tonight, April 21st. The band is set to appear at Sick New World in Las Vegas this weekend along with several sold out dates for their spring trek which features a performance at Welcome to Rockville next month.
Adding to the momentum of Location Lost, Failure has also confirmed additional tour dates this fall with a second North American leg on Thr Rising Skyline tour. With support from Quannnic, Failure will set out September 30th in San Francisco, CA and close out October 30th in Los Angeles. A complete list of dates can be found below. Get tickets - HERE
