Los Angeles outfit Fever 333 continues their winning streak having dropped the anthemic "Ready Rock" earlier this year, followed by their ushering in the "New World Order"just last month. The track offered testament to frontman Jason Aalon Butler's pedigree of West Coast Hip Hop, while cutting no corners on the dynamic sound synonymous with all things 333.
Now, the band have once again asserted their muscle with the emphatic "Higher Power". The single combines the band's energized brand of musical resistance, backed by a compelling message of empowerment specifically recognizing contributions of Black, Brown, and Asian people to the nation.
The track arrives with a potent new clip that finds Fever commanding the pulpit of a church in South Los Angeles, speaking succinctly and confronting those that remain comfortable with the status quo.
“There are no diamonds to be produced without pressure,” says frontman Jason Aalon Butler of the latest track. “No lessons to learn without trials. 'HIGHER POWER' revolves around these ideas and reveres the beauty in the adversity induced magic performed by marginalized communities. To exist in a world that challenges your very existence every day to some degree is one of the most magical acts I have ever witnessed. Here is my 2:43 soundtrack offering to that act.”
With each new release, Fever 333 continues to build momentum ahead of their confirmed slate of headlining tour dates touching down in the US, UK and Europe, filling out the band's 2024 calendar. Emerging powerviolence unit ZULU will join Fever 333 on all us dates with a rotation of Move, Hue and Bucki Sugar taking on select dates throughout the run.
