Extreme music curators and community advocates Fire In the Mountains have announced a special West Coast tour nearly two decades in the making. Confirming Japanese extreme music innovators SIGH for a special set at Fire In the Mountains in Montana for this year's festival, organizers are sharing the love, sending SIGH on an extended run of the West Coast following the fest.
The weeklong stretch of dates begins in Seattle on July 28th and concludes with a finale in Los Angeles on August 1st and will feature a supporting set from Denver heavy music progressives, Dreadnought. The stretch of live dates along the West Coast marks SIGH's long-awaited return following nearly a 20 year absence.
Mirai Kawashima of SIGH shared, "I am really excited that Sigh are finally touring the US again. We played at some US festivals, but the last "tour" was in 2008, so this is going to be the first US tour in nearly 2 decades! I am 100% sure that now we have the strongest line-up ever during our 36-year career. Definitely you have never seen a stage like ours before. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the Asian horror theater."
Kelly Schilling of Dreadnought expressed the band's excitement in aligning with such a highly-respected band. “We are honored to join the legends Sigh on tour following our Fire In The Mountains appearance! We will be performing new music in anticipation of something new to come...”
