Still ascending from the continued acclaim of their 2022 full length effort, Oh, What the Future Holds, Jersey collective Fit For An Autopsy has secured their footing as one of heavy music's most dominant, dynamic forces. Even while the band was in the thick of their album cycle, their prolific creative pace saw the release of last year's trifecta EP, The Aggressions Sessions - teaming with Thy Art Is Murder and Malevolence to again assert their rank.
Continuing to work at rapid clip, all the while further refining their sound, Fit For An Autopsy has announced their seventh full length album, The Nothing That Is. The album is due for an October 25th via Nuclear Blast Records and follows the resounding success of the preceding 2022 LP - which functioned as the band first-ever entry to reach the Top 25 of the Billboard 200.
The effort was produced by the band's own Will Putney and further distills the band's distinct brand of musical destruction - fusing various elements of musical extremity.
Speaking to the intention behind the presentation, the band weighed in on the album and how it stacks up in their tenure as heavy music vets. ''The Nothing That Is' is a full realization of our identity and intention. Every song on this record serves a purpose, and it feels like our most dynamic and powerful album to date. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do."
Along with the news of the band's forthcoming fall release, Fit For An Autopsy has announced a headlining run in support of the album with The Nothing That Is U.S> Tour. The run will kick off October 18th Worcester, MA at the Palladium and close out a month later in New Haven, CT. Enlisting a powerful caravan of support, Fit For An Autopsy will be flanked by Bodysnatcher, Distant, Sylosis and Judiciary for the 25-date stretch.
