Fit For An Autopsy Unloads Massive New Single, "Savior Of None/Ashes of All"

- By Ramon Gonzales

The track previews the band's October full length, The Nothing That Is.

Last month, Jersey aggressors Fit For An Autopsy confirmed the October 25th release of their next full length assault with the news of The Nothing That Is due out via Nuclear Blast Records. The album follows the acclaim of 2022's Oh, What the Future Holds, and last year's The Aggressions Sessions EP, whichn saw the band team with Thy Art Is Murder and Malevolence.

Coupled with the news of the album launch, Fit For An Autopsy also announced plans to trek across the US on the Nothing That Is Tour along with an outstanding ensemble cast of support in Bodysnatcher, Distant, Sylosis, and Judiciary. Adding to the groundswell of anticipation for the year ending for the band, Fit For An Autopsy has delivered an emphatic preview of the pending album with the drop of the dominant new single, "Savior of None/Ashes of All".

Paired with a powerful new visual helmed by Anthony Altamura, the track emphasizes the band's evolved brand of extremity, featuring layered composition and a standout showing from vocalists Joey Badolato.

Speaking to the conviction that drives the track's relentless pace, the band offer some insight to the thematic weight of the single. ’Savior Of None / Ashes Of All’ is a reflection of the inherent darkness surrounding one’s struggle to find a place of peace within the pressures of existence. The root causes of suffering that leads us to depression, addiction, etc. can be ever-present in everyone.

Whether or not it materializes in a controlling way, it certainly exists as a stain on the human psyche. It’s a powerful thought knowing that we all share this potential to self destruct, and how that can bring comfort in not feeling alone, or more chaos to an already fractured human.”

Speaking to the intention behind the album and the importance of this release the band shared how iThe Nothing That Is stacks up among their respected catalog. ''The Nothing That Is' is a full realization of our identity and intention. Every song on this record serves a purpose, and it feels like our most dynamic and powerful album to date. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do."

Along with the news of the band's forthcoming fall release, Fit For An Autopsy has announced a headlining run in support of the album with The Nothing That Is U.S. Tour. The run will kick off October 18th Worcester, MA at the Palladium and close out a month later in New Haven, CT. Enlisting a powerful caravan of support, Fit For An Autopsy will be flanked by Bodysnatcher, Distant, Sylosis and Judiciary for the 25-date stretch.
