Floridian metalcore firebrand Concealer. have announced their signing to heavy music purveyors, Pure Noise Records. The news follows the band's breakout success earlier this year and the arrival of their lauded debut album, This Room Could Be Heaven. Along with the signing to the beloved label, Concealer and Pure Noise have confirmed the wide, re-release of the debut album.
The band gushed about their signing to the label and the promising forecast for the future.
"It all feels surreal. Growing up, you see a ton of bands 'make it', including bands local to you. Starting out, it was very exciting just to see people even know the words to the songs. When people grabbed the mic for the first couple of times, it was really thrilling. Having people stage-diving to songs you wrote in your drummer's apartment is really like a dream come true. It is hard to imagine it getting any better than that. The band almost entirely comes from different musical backgrounds, but, having a label like Pure Noise come metaphorically knocking on your door got all of us excited. It took some deliberation for it to settle in like "Are we really about to do this?".
The band spoke about the initial success of their debut album and the chance to get a second bite of the apple. "'This Room Can Be Heaven' was huge for us in more ways than one. One of the most valuable things that it produced for the band was internal. The album was the most collaborative effort the band has done to date, and, seeing it bearing more fruitful results, not only did it solidify that everybody had something to bring to the table that mattered, but, it brought us together closer as friends.
Concealer. spoke about what's on the immediate horizon. "In the future, we are very excited to tour places we haven't been to before, and, to return to spots we have already been and link up with friends we have met along the way. We are addicted to writing new music, so, of course releasing new music is going to be a huge thing going forward with a label to back us."
In addition to the re-release of This Room Could Be Heaven, Concealer. is set to join Static Dress for a stretch of supporting dates later this month. Check the schedule of confirmed dates and cities below.
