Modern doom hybrid FRAYLE confirmed the October 10th arrival of their new full length album Heretics & Lullabies via Napalm Records. The news follows the band's release of the well-received preview in "Walking Wounded" - a track praised for its stylized take on contemporary dark, ethereal doom. 

Paired with the news of the pending album, FRYALE have also delivered a commanding second preview from the project with an otherwordly take on Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness." Driven by a mesmerizing performance from Gwyn Strang and the subtle, subversive guitars from Sean Bilovecky, the rendition is a powerful showing of FRAYLE's signature and their nonconformist approach to dark, heavy music. 

The band shared, "We’ve always been fans of songwriting with notes of melancholy, no matter what the genre. Hearing 'Summertime Sadness' for the first time was special. Everything seemed to fall into place for us with little resistance on this song. It was the first rough mix we got back from our producer. He added the pause before the breath leading into the first chorus and upon hearing it, we knew we had something special."

A fluid mesh of blackgaze, post rock and modern doom, FRAYLE teamed with producer Aaron Chaparian to unearth new artistic potential on Heretics & Lullabies. The album serves as the long-awaited follow-up to the band's praised 2022 effort, Skin & Sorrow, positioning FRAYLE as one of the most intriguing, emerging forces in the space. 

Following highlight performances at destination festivals including Damnation, Desertfest, Soul Crusher, Gloomnar, Post Fest and Inkcarceration, FRAYLE is currently on their Walking Wounded European run. The band will be performing at Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic, Bloodstock in the UK and Summer Breeze in Germany this month. A complete list of dates and cities can be found below.
