North Dakota's black metal contemporaries Ghost Bath have shared a masterful new documentary film, capturing the sights and sounds of their Rose Thorn Necklace tour of Asia in 2025.
The album serves as the first full length release since 2021's Self Loather and marks the first effort apart from the trilogy that began with 2015's Moonlover. Marking an important new chapter for the band, the album is a triumph of black metal melancholia, augmented by added elements like haunting synth, textured polyrhythms and the kind of convincing emotion indicative of a brave new era in black metal and extreme music.
Filmed and edited by Robin Parsons (blo0mHQ), the Rose Thorn Necklace Asia tour documentary revisits the band's October 2025 live dates, including stops in Sinapore, Taipei, Tokyo and more spanning headlining dates and festival appearances - sharing selections from the hailed 2025 Nuclear Blast LP. Combining live footage with candid b-roll captured as the band explore the region, the clip captures a moment in time for Ghost Bath as they connect with fans far and wide.
