Glare Drop Potent New Single, "Nü Burn"

- By Ramon Gonzales -->

The track is the latest preview from the band's pending full length debut, Sunset Funeral, arriving next month via Deathwish Inc. and Sunday Drive Records.

Texas heavy gaze collective, Glare, have shared another offering from their forthcoming full length debut, Sunset Funeral. The album arrives April 4th via Deathwish Inc. and Sunday Drive Records and showcases the band's weighty take on mood music - complete with sturdy guitars and lush melodies.

"Nü-Burn" follows the launch of the introductory track "Guts" and doubles down on the band's signature of expansive heft and articulate alt with an obvious hardcore backbone.

The band shared of the latest single, "'Nü Burn’ is about how it feels like the world stops when you’re grieving. 'I’ll find you in a new sun, feel a new burn' means finding those we lost in the warmth we feel... it's a big, explosive song and probably our heaviest. When we finished writing it we immediately knew it’d be a single."

Along with the arrival of the debut album that has been years in the making, GLARE will be featured as direct support for Superheaven for a month-long spring trek kicking off next month. Flanked by SPY and Prize Horse, the run begins with an appearance at LDB Fest in Louisville, KY on April 26th and closes out in Brooklyn, NY on May 20th.
