A decade in the making, the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI next month continues to build the anticipation as Rockstar Games has unveiled the in-game radio programming that is such a vital component of the experience.
Spanning classic rock, talk radio, pop, hip-hop, country and even a dedicated metal music radio station, Rockstar Games has shared six of the in-game stations that will soundtrack one of the most important gaming releases in recent history.
Along with the reveal of the specific stations, Grand Theft Auto VI is getting some starpower with some of the channels featuring massive names in their respective spaces. The hip hop channel Dirty South Classics features the voice of DJs Trina and Trick Daddy. The pop station features Robyn as the host/DJ.
GTA 6 will also feature a dedicated metal music station, The Chamber. Having already confirmed a rotation of songs that include Slayer‘s “Raining Blood“, Pantera‘s “I’m Broken” and Black Sabbath‘s “I,“ the most recent preview features the voice of DJs Tom Araya and Kerry King of Slayer serving as the stations DJs/hosts.
