Upon announcement, Motionless In White's Sweat and Blood Tour instantly became one of the most anticipated events of the touring season. With an elite line-up of support encompassing some of heavy music's most crushing contemporaries, combined with the arrival of seventh full length studio album, Decades, plus the band commemorating two decades in the game, this summer run is proving to be a victory lap for Motionless In White. 

Among the focal stops on the first leg of the live campaign, The Kia Forum in Los Angeles payed hosted to a major milestone for the band - making for the first-time ever Motionless In White headlined the iconic venue, presiding over a pummeling line-up that featured Lorna Shore, FIt For A King and Static Dress. 

Shaking the foundation of The Forum, Chris Motionless lead the command from high atop his stage riser, roaring on the opener, "Sign of Life" and the band's instant classic in the Corey Taylor-assisted, "Playing God". Among the standouts of the set, newer entries rarely get the shine in this case. Songs like "Afraid of the Dark" and the brilliantly authentic rendition of Corey Hart's "Sunglasses At Night" drew adulation from the fans while showcasing the kind of evolved musicianship that has afforded the band such longevity. 

This was especially evident on the band's Skylar Grey guested ballad, "R.I.P." Prompting a collective hush from the arena, the track emphasized the dramatics core to the modern era of Motionless In White, while asserting the added firepower of the special guest appearance. 

Motionless In White didn't stop there, sharing the stage with tour's running mates as Ryan Kirby of Fit For A King jumped on a powerhouse version of "Slaughterhouse" and Static Dress' Olli Appleyard returned to perform "Abigail". The move scored well in notching some added points for a powerful performance, more importantly, the move reiterated Motionless In White's current lofty rank in modern metalcore and their willingness to bridge new generations while still on the ascent. 

Completing their time with a pair of their most definitive anthems, "Scoring the End of the World" along with finale from 2017's Graveyard Shift in "Eternally Yours," Motionless In White reminded fans old and new just why they continue to reach new heights two decades in.
