The iconic show silhouette features co-branding with the Manchester brutalizers and arrives just one day after the release of their new record, Armour of Angels.

Set to release their Roadrunner Records full length, Armour of Angels on June 5th, Manchester metallic hardcore collective Guilt Trip have announced a special partnership with Adidas. Working in collaboration with the global shoe and apparel authority, Guilt Trip are set to release a co-branded, limited edition Superstar II.

The iconic sneaker silhouette features band branding, the definitive shelltow design and fat lace fit. The sneakers are set to drop June 6th, just one day after the release of one of heavy music's most anticipated release of the year.

Drummer Tom Aimson spoke with Hypebeast on the importance of the collaboration and how Adidas is so prevalent in the greater culture of music, sports and streetwear.

“Adidas is ingrained in our culture. Being from the north of England, you see the brand in music, football and beyond because it’s what people relate to the most around here. We’re honored to be working with them on a shoe, especially the Superstar II.”

He added: “Superstars were everywhere when we were kids. Seeing Korn, Slipknot and all the other megal bands wearing them in the late ’90s-early ’00s was a massive influence as well as the general Manchester style.”

Touring in support of the band's forthcoming full length, the band will take on some of the biggest headlining dates of their career this fall. Starting October 14th in Birmingham and closing out November 1st in Paris, the Armour of Angels trek will also include a pivotal London show at the Electric Ballroom on Oct 16th and an important homecoming at Manchester’s New Century Hall on Oct 18th.

Set to join Guilt Trip on the run is a curated roster of international heavy hitters. Judiciary, Justice For the Damned and Long Goodbye have all confirmed for run.

The announcement adds to the band's relentless live schedule which includes a return to North America with Dying Wish this summer, the band's upcoming appearance at Sound and Fury later this summer.
