Following the band's recent reveal of the mammoth new single, "Darkness Always Wins," enduring rock outfit Halestorm has confirmed the summer arrival of their sixth full length studio album. Everest is due out August 8th via Atlantic Records and features the continued collaboration with producer Dave Cobb. 

 

Frontwoman Lzzy Hale explained how the album is indicative of the band's personal narrative and a means of allowing fans to get reacquainted with Halestorm. 

"Our album Everest is a story of our journey as a band, full of beautiful endings and new beginnings. We weave a tangled web of melancholy, frustration, anger, and the vast purgatory of love and love lost. It is a rollercoaster of epic musical detours, great songwriting and completely unhinged twists and turns. Everest is an auditory representation of the 4 pillars of Halestorm. "Darkness Always Wins" and the confirmation of Everest arrive as Halestorm gear up to head out on for an extensive live run with both international and domestic dates. Halestorm will be supporting Iron Maiden for a series of dates in Europe and the UK. Halestorm will also support Black Sabbath for Ozzy Osbourne's final show in Birmingham this July. 

Halestorm will return stateside for a summer run supporting Volbeat which segues into their nEVEREST World Tour which features support from Bloodywood and Kelsey Karter & The Heroines for select EU/UK dates. The North American stretch of shows will feature supporting sets from Lindsey Stirling and Apocalyptica. A complete list of confirmed dates and cities can be found below.
