Metallic hardcore pioneers Hatebreed have announced plans to commemorate their 30th anniversary with a comprehensive North American tour due to kick off this fall.
The news of the official anniversary tour follows a series of special events for for the band including their recent March Metal Matinee anniversary show in Hatebreed's home state of Connecticut, as well as two sold-out shows at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY, and the band's sold out, four-night residency at Amityville Music Hall in Long Island earlier this year.
Hatebreed's 30th anniversary tour is set to begin September 26th in Portland, ME and close out on October 27th in Norfolk, VA. In addition to the gravity of such a milestone celebration, Hatebreed have assembled a broad, bold line-up of support showcasing their deeply rooted connection heavy music across the spectrum.
Joining Hatebreed for the 30th anniversary tour will be the legendary Carcass along with Midwest hardcore stalwarts Harms Way and Brazilian death metal sensation Crypta.
Frontman Jamey Jasta shared the following of the announcement, "We are extremely grateful to have hit this milestone and to be able to celebrate it with the some of the best bands and fans in the world! We cannot wait to see everyone on the road."
Hatebreed drummer Matt Byrne echo the sentiment. "30 Years of Hatebreed! What a wild ride it has been! The ups, the downs, and all of the in-betweens… I have nothing but gratitude towards my bandmates and each and every one of our fans WORLDWIDE. We’re coming to see you all. Stay tuned."
