Billed as Music's Biggest Night, the 68th annual Grammy Awards have commenced and the result after months of anticipation and speculation are prompting cause for celebration.

Among the early highlights thus far, YUNGBLUD is deservedly taking home the hardware for the Best Rock Performance category. Earning the win for his brilliant tribute to Ozzy Osbourne with a historic rendition of "Changes" along with Nuno Bettencourt, Frank Bello, Adam Wakeman & II, the highlight from the Back to the Beginning farewell Live from Villa Park served as an important homage - and now one that lives on forever.

Taking home the gold for Best Rock Song, Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Nine Inch Nails sealed the W for their incendiary work on the TRON: Ares Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, taking top honors for the monumental single, "As Alive As You Need Me to Be." While Reznor and Ross have earned multiple trophies throughout their storied career as composers for film, TRON: Ares marks the first effort to be labeled as Nine Inch Nails with regards to music for film.

Coming up big thus far, Turnstile was expected to have a massive night and have made good on the expectations. The Baltimore hardcore phenomenon has scored for both Best Metal Performance for the track, "BIRDS" and walks with the hardware for Best Rock Album for their triumph, NEVER ENOUGH.

Robert Smith and The Cure continue to defy time, earning top honors for their work on Songs of A Lost World. The album won for Best Alternative Music Album as well as Best Alternative Music Performance for the track, "Alone."

Kendrick Lamar would come up big, scoring five Grammy trophies and being nominated nine times on the night. Kendrick's biggest nod was his win for Record of the Year, earning the honor of best on the year for the track, "Luther" along with SZA. The night proved to be massive for the cast and crew of the horror film Sinners as well, taking home two Grammys for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media (for Ludwig Göransson's score) and Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.

For the In Memoriam of the show, Post Malone would lead an all-star cast comprised of Slash, Duff MaKagan, Chad Smith and producer Andrew Watt to honor the life and lgeacy of Ozzy Osbourne. The collective submitted a powerhouse rendition of "War Pigs" which set the Grammy stage ablaze and prompted the black-tie crowd to it's feet.
