Surging from the recent release of their third full length album, Tomorrow We Escape, progressive aggressors Ho99o9 are mounting an impressive charge to punctuate the year-ending 2025. In addition to the album of the year candidate which concocts a potent meld of hardcore heft, punk disposition, hip hop swagger and stylized industrial, the tandem of theOGM and Yeti Bones have unveiled an ambitious collaboration as the latest featured artist under the banner of ADIDAS Originals.
Taking on the iconic Superstar silhouette, Ho99o9 have unveiled their limited edition Roux Ga Roux’s Foot collaboration sneaker. Launched in celebration of the release of Tomorrow We Escape, the shoe features distinct Ho99o9 iconography along with the band's logo emblazoned on the sole of the shoe. Framing the cultural significance of aligning with ADIDAS Originals, the band shared their take on how the project is much more than merch.
"Kobe Bryant always been 1 of our favorite basketball players. I always wanted a pair of the crazy 8’s. Growing up my dad was a Brazil fan when World Cup came around. He always wore the jersey. Adidas always played a role in the culture, from seeing Bob Marley in adidas track suits & jerseys, Run DMC or Jeremy Scott putting wings on a high top, …just to name a few. We’re excited & honored to be part of such an all star cast. As we’re set to release our 1st collaboration shoe with adidas. Our version of the SuperStar aka the Roux Ga Roux’s Foot."
Paired with the drop of the Ho99o9 x ADIDAS Originals Superstar, the dup have also joined forces with streetwear authority Union LA for limited edition capsule marking the release of Tomorrow We Escape. Among the premium items featured in the collection include a co-branded hockey jersey, hockey mask and bomber jacket - in addition to the standard tees and canvas tote paired with the sneaker.
