Holy Wars Debut Powerful Studio Rendition of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt"

The viral sensation has resulted in a live, in-studio version of the classic track that few bands would ever dare attempt.

Los Angeles rock music firebrand Holy Wars have mounted a forceful charge for the second half of the year. Issuing a succession of singles via Pale Chord, the band's run with "I Feel Everything," "Crucify" and the anthemic "Metamorphasis" in recent months further substantiate their rising stock and have amped the anticipation for the follow-up their celebrated 2023 EP, Cult Classic.

For the band's latest show of spectacle, Holy Wars has transformed a viral moment into a powerful show of prowess, taking on a classic with a live, in studio rendition of "Hurt" from Nine Inch Nails.

Last month, the band hosted an intimate evening at the Pico Union Project in Los Angeles - holding court over a captivated crowd that watched as Ket Leon and Holy Wars showcases dazzling spectacle and performative command. Among the highlights of the evening was the band's live rendition of the NIN classic that would ultimately become a viral moment - compelling the band to revisit the track with a studio version and a proper release.

Anchored by a mesmerizing showing from Leon, the homage to The Downward Spiral era of Trent Reznor resonates as emotive and sincere as the band showcase a real reverence for an ageless anthem that few could or would even dare attempt.

The in studio cover lands as Holy Wars prep for a pivotal 2026. The band is confirmed to embark on the 2026 Shiprocked Voyage along with Halestorm, Motionless In White, Knocked Loose and many more. Stay up to date on all things Holy Wars - HERE
