The tandem of Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison as House of Protection continue to establish a relentless pace with the announcement of their next EP, Outrun You All... The announcement lands following the band's triumphant showing with their first-ever tour of Australia and their confirmation as support for the upcoming North American stretch of dates with genre-bending firebrand, Poppy. 

Electing to once again join forces with producer and collaborator Jordan Fish, the duo has unleashed the first serving from the project with an homage to legendary mathcore pioneers, Converge. "Afterlife" finds House of Protection changing the cadence of their onslaught, wielding a heavy sword with a slower moving impact. No less forceful however, the track dials back the speed and still managed to land with devastating results. 

The band spoke about the shift in delivery on the latest track and how that counters what the band accomplished on their previous EP. “‘Afterlife’ was the second song we demoed, right after “It’s Supposed to Hurt”. It started with just the guitar stab and the whip sound. We liked it a lot, but ultimately, we pushed to avoid heavy half-time on ‘GALORE’. We intentionally wanted to keep that whole first EP pretty fast. After our debut shows, we realized how much we missed the feeling live, so we revisited it and refined the ideas with Jordan and Nick. Now it’s one of our favorites.”

The May 23rd arrival of Outrun You All... lands between a busy slate of touring for the band in the coming months. House of Protection will join Poppy and Bad Omens for a spring trek across the united States. Then, the band will travel abroad to take on a run of European festival dates with appearances set for Rock am Ring / Rock im Park in Germany, Nova Rock in Austria, Download Festival in the UK and Resurrection Fest in Spain just to list a few.
