Horrorcore vanguards Ice Nine Kills have announced plans to hit the road this August for the Hell of A Summer Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the trek is set to begin August 6th in Green Bay, WI. and close out on September 6th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
The summer trek is bookended by the band's Silver Scream Convention which will feature a performance by Ice Nine Kills at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. Combining the concert experience with the band's annual horror convention serves as a growing tradition and a celebration of the INK universe in full.
The Hell of a Summer Tour will feature sets from special guests including Dayseeker, Kim Dracula and The Funeral Portrait. Pop-punk veterans MEST will also join the caravan for a select few dates. All of the support bands listed will also be on hand at Silver Scream Con, with A Loss for Words also bolstering the live line-up.
Ice Nine Kills frontman and mastermind Spencer Charnas said of the announcement, "The HELL OF A SUMMER Tour will be a celebration of all things INK - past, present and future. It's a eclectic bill and having MESTon some of the shows is a particularly full circle moment for me. As many Psychos know, I formed the band after seeing Goldfinger and MEST in Worcester 25 years ago.
The date is so important to me, I have it tattooed behind my ear."
Charnas continued, "The tour culminates in a sure-to-be historic performance at the DCU Center, where I experienced some of my first arena shows as a kid, including the Family Values Tour with our current tourmates Limp Bizkit and home of the Silver Scream Con.
The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR's last stop at Silver Scream Con will also feature some New England punk rock royalty as a very special guest."
Tickets for the Ice Nine Kills Hell of A Summer Tour are set to go on sale starting May 23rd at 10am local time. The official artist pre-sale begins today, May 19th at 11am ET via exclusively through the Ice Nine Kills 'Psychos Only’ app.
