Set to begin their European Invasion Tour later this month of which include several festival dates and supporting plays with the likes of Behemoth and Author & Punisher, New York extreme music outliers Imperial Triumphant have delivered another unexpected showing of their virtuosity.
Taking on a classic from Radiohead, Imperial Triumphant have shared a spiraling rendition of "Paranoid Android" in what marks the beginning of a series of cover selections.
Imperial Triumphant vocalist and guitarist Zachary Ezrin spoke about the effort. "We are huge fans of Radiohead and their ethos. We feel that Radiohead have a diverse and unique approach to song craft and lyricism that we have always gravitated towards, and the song 'Paranoid Android' lays out a perfect canvas for us to play and create with."
Ezrin further detailed how the art served well in bridging the two entities together. "The artwork, created by Alek Kalabalov, exquisitely blends the aesthetics of both bands seamlessly. It was a pleasure reinterpreting this great rock classic, and we hope you find it immensely pleasurable.”
Imperial Triumphant will be touring in support of their lauded 2022 full length, Spirit of Ecstasy. The European Invasion II tour will see the band take the stage at Hellfest in France, Resurrection Festival in Spain and Tuska Open Air Festival in Helsinki, Finland just to name a few.
