A decade since the last installment, the Warped Tour adjacent Taste of Chaos Tour is being revived for the first time since 2016. The modernized version of the alt-heavy trek will featured a co-headlining bill with Hollywood Undead and In This Moment earning top billing.
The announcement arrives as In This Moment have debuted new music in the form of "Sleeping With the Enemy," the band's next chapter via Better Noise Music. Pairing the band's theatric presentation and a commanding performance from Maria Brink, the track along with the Taste of Chaos confirmation make for a bright forecast for In This Moment.
Brink shared, With 'Sleeping with the Enemy' and our upcoming album, we're confronting the darkness — whether it's inside us or external. It's about looking that darkness in the face and transforming it into empowerment. We feel so exhilarated and ready to show the world what we've conjured up."
As for Hollywood Undead, the band have also seized the opportunity to deliver new music. Following the release of effective singles in "1x1" and "All My Friends" the genre-melding unit have delivered an infectious entry with "Feels Like Home." Despite the catchy nature of the track, the band explained how the reality is a bit more heavy than the lively tone would suggest.
“‘Feels Like Home‘ is about getting used to the things that are slowly breaking you. It’s a song for the broken, a reminder that they’re not alone and that with us, they’re right at home.”
The revival of the Taste of Chaos tour will begin September 22nd in Charlotte, NC and close out October 26th in Anaheim, CA. The run will also feature supporting sets from ISeeStars, surging New Zealand firebrand VANA and Melrose Avenue - embracing the ethos of the tour banner in bridging genre heavyweights with the new generation of artists.
