Having forged a dominant presence as Japan's surging power metal collective over the span of the last decade, LOVEBITES has begun an important new chapter in their career. In addition to the band's upcoming debut at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo next month, the band have confirmed their recent signing with international heavy music authority, Napalm Records. 

Securing a new ally in Napalm, the partnership will instantly fruit results, releasing LOVEBITES' explosive full length, Outstanding Power, with a wide release via preferred digital streaming platforms. The band's focal fifth album will see a physical release this spring, arriving May 8th. 

The band spoke to the metaphor of the album that best summarizes their sound. “Unlike the solid ground of land, the sea never offers stability. Yet a ship pushes forward across its surface, never yielding to the crashing waves, raging storms, or roaring thunder. It was with this sense of overwhelming power that we created a truly one‑of‑a‑kind album—something only we could bring into the world. Celebrating the arrival of LOVEBITES via Napalm Records, the band has shared the epic single, "The Castaway," to preview the sheer force of Outstanding Power. Framing speed, precision, technicality and intensity in abundance, the track emphasizes the proficiency of LOVEBITES all while asserting an important new player in the global landscape of contemporary power metal.
