A generation after the first feature length film debuted and changed the game, the Jackass franchise is making one last curtain call with the reveal of their fifth and (likely) final trail for Best and Last. The film follows the acclaim of the 2022 installment of Forever, which introduced new cast members in Zach Holmes, Jasper Dolphin, Sean "Poopies" McInerney, Eric Manaka, and Rachel Wolfson.
For the latest entry of the Jackass canon, Jeff Tremaine along with Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jonze return for what Tremaine jokes in the first look at the film as "what Jackass looks like at 50." Along with the returning cast of the original Jackass collective in Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, Jason 'Wee-Man' Acuna and Preston Lacy, the film leaps into the modern era, introducing new cast member Larry the Robot.
As for the stunts expected to anchor the finale of the franchise, the trailer points to some painfully hilarious predicaments including a penis shock collar, an escape room straight out of the Saw franchise and the first-ever robot conducted prostate exam - leave it to the Jackass crew to continuously break new ground.
The film hits theaters for a wide release June 26th. See the introductory trailer below.
