Jane's Addiction Release New Single, "Imminent Redemption"

Jane's Addiction Release New Single, "Imminent Redemption"

- By Ramon Gonzales

The track serves as the first showing of original music from the OG line-up of the band in more than three decades.

Following the recent reunion of the original line-up of Jane's Addiction with Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Eric Avery reconvening for the first time in 14 years - it looks as though a whole new chapter of the band has now begun.

As the band prepare for a comprehensive US tour next month, Jane's Addiction has release a new offering of music with the single, "Imminent Redemption". The single showcases the musical potency of the band's OG line-up and marks the first release of original music from the this configuration of JA in more than 34 years.

The band spoke about the significance of the single and how the track marks a pivotal moment in the incredible story of Jane's Addiction. “It is different this time,” says the band. “To have everyone back together, releasing new music. It’s time. Welcome to the next chapter of Jane’s Addiction. 'Imminent Redemption' is only the beginning.”

The roster that last recorded 1990's Ritual de lo Habitual together will embark on an extended stretch of tour dates - one that finds guitarist Dave Navarro officially back into the mix following a lengthy battle with Covid.

The stretch of headlining dates is set to begin August 9th at the brand new Fontainebleau of Las Vegas. The tour will conclude with a pair of festival dates including the South Star Music Festival in Huntsville, AL and Evolution Festival in St. Louis, MO on September 29th.

Set to join the historic run of live dates, Jane's Addiction has tapped Love and Rockets to serve as support for the duration of the tour with Crawlers slated to open each night of the run. A complete list of dates and cities can be found below.
