Jerry Cantrell Confirms 'I Want Blood' North American Tour

The early 2025 trek will showcase new music from the album due out this week and will feature support from Filter.

Legendary guitarist and songwriter Jerry Cantrell is set to release his latest solo album, I Want Blood, this week. Coupled with the arrival of the new album, Cantrell has confirmed a slate of North American tour dates in support of the release - beginning early 2025. 

The 'I Want Blood' North American tour is set to begin January 31st in Niagara Falls, ON and extend through March 9th where the run concludes on March 9th in Seattle, WA. The run will showcase new selections from the newly released album and will feature support from Filter on each of the confirmed dates. 

I Want Blood was recorded with Joe Barresi and features contributions from Duff McKagan (Guns N’Roses), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Greg Puciato (Better Lovers, ex-Dillinger Escape Plan), Gil Sharone (Team Sleep, Stolen Babies), and Lola Colette. 

 

 

Speaking with Loudwire on the strength of the new full length, Cantrell offered, “[This album] packs a punch and it hits you in the face.” Cantrell emphasized, “I couldn’t think of a more impactful title than I Want Blood.”
