Following the resounding success of 2024's Furnace Fest in what was widely considered to the be the last go 'round of the resurrected banner, organizers have opted to press forward with what seems to be a rejuvenated energy.
Going into 2024's weekend in Birmingham, Furnace Fest producers had announced that it would be the "End of an Era" for the fest - suggesting that the run that reignited in 2021, was coming to close.
It would seem as though the organizers have had a change of heart. The latest announcement regarding Furnace Fest is not only a continuation of the hardcore, punk, emo, metalcore amalgam that made the event so beloved, but the 2025 edition could arguably be the biggest version of the festival fans have seen yet.
Set for October 3rd-5th, Furnace Fest will welcome Jimmy Eat World, Dropkick Murphys and Knocked Loose as their top-line talent. Additional standouts include recently reunited bands like Texas Is the Reason, Foundation and The Mongoloids. Furnace Fest 2025 also features important milestone performances with Comeback Kid celebrating 20 years of Wake the Dead and Norma Jean celebrating 20 years of O’ God, the Aftermath.
Among the vets showcased on Furance Fest 2025, Suicidal Tendencies, Hot Water Music, Converge, Biohazard, Zao, Saves the Day, Less Than Jake and Anberlin are among the broad spectrum of names. As for the current wave of artists, Drain, Kublai Khan TX, Speed, Sanguisugabogg, Gates to Hell and Trauma Ray are just a few of the names underscoring the relevance of the line-up.
Furnace Fest takes over the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark October 3rd through the 5th. See the most current line-up below. Get tickets - HERE
