Check the latest preview from the band's forthcoming fifth full length record, Duél, arriving in February via Napalm Records.

Ukrainian metal powerhouse Jinjer confirmed the arrival date of their fifth full length studio effort, Duél, Setting February 7th as the due date, the album marks an important follow up to the band's acclaimed 2021 release Wallflowers, which positioned Jinjer as one of heavy music's most crushing, contemporary forces.

The announcement punctuated a summer that saw a successful rollout with a series of effective, explosive singles including "Someone's Daughter", "Rogue" and the most recent showing in “Kafka”.

Continuing their fruitful working relationship with producer Max Morton, Duél showcases Jinjer's continued progression as heavy music practitioners in their prime. Anchored by the charisma and command of vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk and the compositional talent of Eugene Abdukhanov, Jinjer is unquestionably operating at their peak - further evidenced by their most recent preview from the album, "Green Serpent".

Anchored by Tatiana Shmayluk meld of clean vocals that segue into a harrowing howl, paired with the band's weighty groove, "Green Serpent" offers a sample of Jinjer's sonic evolution en route to becoming one of heavy music's most dynamic, dominant forces.

Speaking more in depth about the gravity of this next full length album, Eugene Abdukhanov put the project into perspective and offered some insight on just how consuming crafting new Jinjer music can be.  “...finally having Duél in our hands and ready to be shared with the world, makes us very proud that our band still hasn’t run out of creativity and inspiration. The fact that we still challenge ourselves to release the best music we have ever made with each new release, is what keeps JINJER moving forward.

This upcoming album was the longest songwriting process we’ve ever had and it took almost two years to complete. We worked very hard with every free minute we weren’t on tour, recording demos over and over again and always searching for the perfect sound for guitars, bass and drums. It was also the first time that Tatiana did vocal pre-productions, so it’s safe to say that none of our releases were so well thought out and calculated as this one."

Abdukhanov also explained how this new record levels up Jinjer's contribution to contemporary heavy music. "It pulverizes the boundaries of the modern progressive metal genre but still remains sophisticated, exciting and extreme all at the same time. We took up the challenge to expand our musical horizons even wider than before in order to cement Duél to be the next step in JINJER‘s musical growth and hopefully the evolution of metal music in general.”

Jinjer recently completed a run supporting Sepultura for the band's farewell tour in Europe which leads into their headlining trek through Latin America with guests Heaven Shall Burn. See below for a complete list of dates and cities.  Get tickets - HERE
