Venerated guitar master John 5 has debuted a new single in the poignant, "A Hollywood Story". The track serves as his first since last year's "The Ghost" and precedes a run of upcoming solo dates set for September of this year with the Strung Out Tour 2024.
Known, in part, for his accolades with the likes of Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Rob Halford and most recently the guitarist for Mötley Crüe, John 5 has become one of the most celebrated names in the space and revered for his unmatched ability with the axe.
On his latest solo effort, John 5 channels his unique ability of composition to use an instrumental track to offer testament to his history as a lifelong musician and his many accomplishments tallied along with the way.
John 5 explained, "’A Hollywood Story’ is a look back on my career and how lucky I am to have had the experiences that I've had. When you’re a little kid, in your room, dreaming of your future, I never could’ve dreamt of what has happened to me in real life. I’m so appreciative and so happy. So go after your dreams whatever they may be."
Set to begin September 1st in Boston, MA and close out on October 24th in Novato, CA., John 5 will hit the road for his Strung Out solo tour with support from Turning Jane. These solo dates for John 5 will be in addition to his scheduled appearances with Mötley Crüe at Summerfest, Louder Than Life and Aftershock festivals.
