A testament to his singular vision and artistry, JPEGMAFIA has announced his latest full length, Experimental Rap, due out May 21st. The release follows the universal acclaim of the 2024 LP, I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU and the subsequent DIRECTOR'S CUT that arrived last year.
The entirely hands on project finds JPEGMAFIA again pushing the boundaries of counter culture, embracing elements on hip hop, rock and punk on an album that he helmed entirely - writing, producing and mixing the complete presentation.
Pulling back the curtain on Experimental Rap, JPEGMAFIA has shared the lead single in "babygirl," - a track that asserts JPEGMAFIA's inability to remain categorically contained, implementing various styles to articulate alternative music that sources from a wide spectrum.
As one of hip-hop's most innovative, incendiary forces, Experimental Rap proves a powerful amalgam of punk, industrial and even gospel, accented with genuine lyricism and fearless execution that positions JPEGMAFIA has a true contemporary and an alt music renegade. To offer some indication of his reach, in 2025 alone, JPEGMAFIA toured with the likes of Linkin Park, Turnstile, Danny Brown, $uicideboy$ and Vince Staples - earning high praise across all circles.
Along with the arrival of the new album, JPEGMAFIA is set to launch The Experimental Rap Tour across North America.
