Justice For the Damned Drop Hostile New Track, "Clawing Wounds"

The track previews the forthcoming LP, Stay Relentless, and includes a special guest assist from Taylor Barber of Left to Suffer.

Australian blue chips Justice for the Damned have submitted another pummeling preview from their forthcoming full length, Stay Relentless, which is due out August 15th via Greyscale Records.

Adding to a hefty succession that has delivered walloping singles in "The Current," "Built to Be Broken" and the album's gargantuan title track, "Clawing Wounds" further showcases the band's heavy artillery backed by a volatile performance and a slow-burning breakdown that roars with heat and hostility.

Further bolstering the brawn of the single, "Clawing Wounds" also features a special guest assist from Taylor Barber of deathcore killers, Left to Suffer. Exploring weighty themes of isolation and despair, the ire of the song eventually gives way to sense of optimism and empowerment - finding strength in the struggle.

The band discussed how the track amplifies the intensity of their sound in a way that offers another glimpse of their versatility on Stay Relentless. "We wanted to try on a sonic vibe that was a bit different to the rest of the record, at least in the first half of the song," says the band. "Clawing Wounds showcases a chaotic and frantic side of Justice that we haven’t really tapped into before."

The August arrival of Stay Relentless marks the first full length full length offering from the Aussie unit since the band's breakout 2020 release, Pain Is Power, a release that reached the ARIA Top 20 and vaulted UftD to far-reaching acclaim.

"Clawing Wounds" is out now and streaming via preferred DSPs. Stay Relentless arrives August 15 via Greyscale Records. Order the album - HERE
