Genre-melding firebrand Kid Bookie has announced plans to hit the road for a stretch of live dates that include headlining plays and festival appearances. Trekking in support of his acclaimed 2024 LP, Songs For The Living // Songs For The Dead, Bookie has tapped Frecnh metal band Dagoba to join as support. The announcement arrives as Kid Bookie continues to tease an upcoming collaboration "Get Out" with none other than Griffin Taylor of Vended.
Bookie spoke about the pending release, “If rock is dead, how are Griffin and I still alive? We came together to create something that’s not just metal-metal-metal, but rather an evolution of where rock can go or is going. Whether you like it, love it, or hate it, evolution is necessary; this is where we start.”
As for the run of tour dates, Bookie begins his live run later this month with a date in London on March 28th. Shortly after, Bookie is set to make an appearance at Takedown Festival before taking on dates throughout Europe. The following month, Bookie is due to perform in both Leeds and Hatfield as part of Slam Dunk 2025.
Bookie shared of the tour confirmation, “Ninety per cent of my tour was cancelled’ the enigmatic frontman remarks. “The 10% that survived will have to feel 500% of the anger. Celebrate the death of the old with me; welcome in the era of the new, no hold bars, no prisoners, no fucks given, even you.”
